I am the head of this home, known as The House of Seven Cats (although at present we are only four). In addition to managing my housemates and serving staff, I enjoy napping, washing, stretching, napping, blogging, washing, stretching and napping. I am of noble birth, and according to staff I possess a great deal of "cattitude" - which must be a good thing!!
My maid has requested that I include a link to her website, and as she has been a devoted servant (with some notable shortcomings) for many years, I shall do so. She would appreciate visits from my feline friends and their human counterparts.
At long last the fireplace has been lit! I spent a lovely evening on the hassock in front of the warm fire last evening. The very best part of this time of year if you ask me!
If it is cold enough to light the fire, it must be really cold outside. Hope you don't have to go there - brrr! The photo is a perfect example of what my staff person calls a "cushy cat."

That looks very warm and comfy!
You look very cozy in front of the fire. We like it when our beans light the fireplace but they haven't done it yet!
You are so lucky to have a fireplace! It looks very extra cozy!
It looks nice and warm and cosy in front of your fire. Do you have room for company?
